Their mission is to combine their working life as professional musicians with their deep love of Jesus and their passion to share God’s love through their music. The band is comprised of Scottish musicians from many different backgrounds and styles including: Steph MacLeod, Mhairi Marwick, Scott Wood, Chris Amer, Naomi Stirrat, Gus Stirrat and Ifedade Thomas.
The Generosity Festival takes place over the course of 3 sessions, each one being around 2 hours long. These are all available until Monday 18th October for you to watch at your leisure. This flexibility makes it super simple for you to schedule in Watch Party times that suit your group!
SESSION 1: Celebrating Small Beginnings
Featuring engaging teaching from Bob Goff, some of Daryl Heald's reflections on the birth and development of Generosity Path, and updates on the movement from around the globe, this session will mark the many different ways in which the seeds of generosity can be sown. We will also hear from Lord Michael Hastings about people who have inspired him to share his platform and shine a light on their stories.
SESSION 2: Playing Your Part
This is where things get personal! Through Francis Chan's Bible teaching on the letter to the Corinthians, as well as a panel discussion between business leaders, we move to thinking about the application of our theory of generosity, and how we can meaningfully participate. Thanks to Celtic Worship, we will have plenty of moments to pause for breath and to prayerfully reflect on what we've heard and how we feel called to respond.
SESSION 3: Sharing the Stories
Finally, we'll consider the very real power of storytelling to inspire multiplication in the generosity movement. Contributors from the worlds of TV and film, including producer Korie Robertson and actress/director Hanna Verboom, will provoke our thinking around the relational nature of giving and receiving, and how it weaves lives together in tales of mutual transformation. UK church leader Pete Hughes will fuel the passing of the generosity baton as we are commissioned to spread the message worldwide.
