THREE GENEROSITY PATH EXPERIENCES

To help givers grow in the grace of giving, Generosity Path has crafted three types of experiences.

Journey of Generosity

A one-night retreat with a group of 12-20 other givers to discuss and discern.

Next Steps

A day-long session moving from “why give” to “how to give.”

Celebration of Generosity

Dozens of givers from across a region gather for encouragement.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT A journey of generosity?

Expect a safe conversation around generosity.

Life is a journey that is not meant to be traveled alone. Our Journey of Generosity gatherings reflect this shared journey. We find a comfortable setting and explore God’s Word, watch stories of other inspirational givers, enjoy meals together, and ask God’s Spirit to show us how to use the money that He’s entrusted to us.

A Conversation with New Friends

We don’t lecture, we discuss. We don’t fill out spreadsheets or financial plans; we work discern God’s will.  We strive to understand and offer wise support at the right times. We listen a lot as we learn together to think faithfully and biblically.

A Safe Environment

Most people who want to talk about money are after something: your money.  Where can people gather without fear to discuss how money shapes our hearts?  Our gatherings happen in a place of trust. We are privately funded by a group of Christian givers.  We will never ask you for money.  We simply want to share the joy that we find in generosity in the hope that you will taste it too.

why attend a journey of generosity?

Our other experiences

Once givers come to a Journey of Generosity, their hearts are transformed and they want to continue to follow God into the joy of generosity.  To help them continue the journey, we offer two other types of gatherings:

THE NEXT STEPS EXPERIENCE

Those who attend a Journey of Generosity often emerge with a deep knowledge of why to give. But they may have many questions about how to give.  Givers ask questions like,

  • How can I involve my family in my giving?
  • How do I know where God wants me to give?
  • How do I identify my giving passions?
  • How can I build a healthy relationship with the churches, ministries, or people to whom I give?

Around the world, we gather Journey of Generosity "alumni" to explore these questions in a safe, biblically grounded environment.

Celebrations of Generosity

Over the years, we have supported Celebrations in Hong Kong, London, and Singapore.  The Celebration of Generosity involves a larger group of givers from across a region.  This two-day experience gathers givers for encouragement, inspiration, and to consider ways to excel even more in the grace of giving.  The audience primarily consists of affluent Christians eager to learn from God's Word, reflect on their giving, and discuss giving informally with true peers.
