journey of generosity
The Journey of Generosity offers a safe space among approximately 12-20 peers (free from solicitations or recommendations of specific charities, giving mechanisms, or financial advice) to delve into biblical generosity. Talking about money can be uncomfortable, even among close friends, yet it is a conversation that many of us desire to have.
The Journey of Generosity includes stories of generous givers, interactive discussions, reflection opportunities and Bible study that enables participants to process the biblical message of generosity. It is story driven and experiential in nature. We do not provide teaching nor are we prescriptive, instead each participant has the freedom to experience their unique journey with God around generosity.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone who has experienced that it is more blessed to give than to receive. If you’ve been invited to a Journey of Generosity, someone already believes you are generous and knows the joy you’ll find as you further explore this life-giving message with friends.
IS THERE A HIDDEN AGENDA?
Many people who want to talk to you about money want something from you. Generosity Path is privately funded, so you’ll never be asked for money. Ever. Here is our agenda: we want to give you the gift of conversation. We want your heart to be captured by Jesus and generosity and to create a place to figure out what that means for your journey. We don’t want something from you, we want something for you.
what can i expect as a host of a journey of generosity?
Hosting is a wonderful way to bring the message of generosity to your friends and family. Generosity Path will provide all of the materials as well as a trained facilitator to guide the discussion. The only things we ask you to provide are the venue and food for the time together.
If you are interested in hosting, please email email@example.com and one of our team members will connect with you.
Those who attend a Journey of Generosity often emerge with a deep knowledge of why to give. Yet, they may have many questions about how to give, such as:
How can I involve my family in my giving?
How do I know where God wants me to give?
How do I identify my giving passions?
How can I build a healthy relationship with the churches, ministries, or people to whom I give?
Around the world, we gather Journey of Generosity "alumni" to explore these questions in a safe, biblically grounded environment.
Celebration of Generosity
The Celebration of Generosity brings together a larger group of givers from across a region. We gather in places such as Hong Kong, London, India, Singapore, Czech Republic, and South Africa. These events are locally-run and supported. The audience primarily consists of affluent Christians eager to learn from God's Word, reflect on their giving, and discuss giving informally with true peers. This experience gathers givers for encouragement, inspiration, and to consider ways to excel even more in the grace of giving.
“The Journey of Generosity inspired me … we have a new vision now.”
“[We have realized that] God is the true owner of all the wealth of this world, and we are his housekeeper.”
"The approach to 'giving' for God's Kingdom was new and refreshing and easy to share with others. Thank you for your Kingdom mentality.... Wow!"
"God met me in this journey."
"I am much more hopeful about our journey and feel surrounded and supported by a body of believers seeking the Kingdom."
– South Africa
are the events only in English?
Generosity Path operates in more than 20 languages. This number will continue to increase as we expand globally.
HOW DO I GET INVITED TO AN EVENT?
Events are privately hosted by givers around the world. If you would like to host an event for a community of your friends whom God has entrusted with much, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Each gathering is hosted by a giver. These hosts usually cover your food and lodging expenses. Generosity Path receives no money from attendees or hosts.
HOW IS GENEROSITY PATH FUNDED?
A private group of Christian givers contributes all the funds that make this ministry possible. Since we are fully and privately funded we are able to create safe spaces for discussions around generosity.
Does Generosity Path solicit money?
We will never ask you for money nor recommend specific organizations or projects. We simply want to share the joy that we find in generosity in the hope that you will taste it too.
